LIVE MATCH: PSG vs Arsenal UEFA Champions League final

Budapest: Reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain are set to defend their Champions League crown at the Puskás Aréna in Hungary, where they will face English side Arsenal who are aiming to capture a historic, first-ever UCL title.

PSG, eyeing back-to-back European triumphs, secured their spot in the final after overcoming German champions Bayern Munich.

Their semi-final clash featured a first-leg for the ages that saw Les Parisiens claim a thrilling 5–4 victory at home, before the French side sealed the win on aggregate with a hard-fought 1–1 draw at the Allianz Arena.

Arsenal, on the other hand, narrowly edged past Spain’s Atlético Madrid with a 1-0 Bukayo Saka tap-in at London’s Emirates Stadium after grinding out a 1–1 draw at the Riyadh Air Metropolitano.

This marks only the second Champions League final appearance in Arsenal's history. Their first came twenty years ago in 2006, when a legendary side led by Arsène Wenger and Thierry Henry fell short against a star-studded FC Barcelona team featuring the likes of Ronaldinho and Samuel Eto’o leading the attack.

Meanwhile, PSG are on the verge of making history of their own. With a win at Budapest, the French side will become only the second club in the modern era to successfully defend the Champions League title, matching a feat previously achieved only by Real Madrid.
